Where we think that we may need to refer a final decision taken by a fitness to practise committee to court (because the decision is unduly lenient and does not protect the public) we hold a formal case meeting to consider whether a court referral would be in the public interest.

All available Section 29 case meeting notes can be downloaded by selecting the relevant year from the drop down menu below.

We do not publish case meeting notes where no finding of impairment of fitness to practise was made at the original panel hearing, or when a hearing was held in private.
