The regulators work together as a group to explore ways in which they can learn from each other’s experiences. This is to improve their individual engagement efforts with patients and the public. The group has produced a leaflet for patients and the public which acts as a signpost to patients to contacts they can use in each organisation to obtain further information.
The regulators also invite other health regulators and organisations from outside the health sector to share and consider approaches in good practise in Patient and Public Engagement (PPE). So far, the group has considered ways to improve responses to policy consultations from patients and the public and ways in which they can collaborate for wider PPE.
