New Council Members Announced

The Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (CHRE) welcomed the announcement by the Appointments Commission of the names of six non-executive members of its reformed Council.

The new members took up office on 1 January 2009 under the leadership of Baroness Jill Pitkeathley. The Council will provide strategic direction to ensure that CHRE fulfils its statutory functions and that the organisation retains the trust and confidence of patients and the public.
