Andrew Hind CB
Council Member
Andrew is visiting Professor of Charity Governance and Finance at Cass Business School, City University, and editor of Charity Finance magazine. He was chief executive of the Charity Commission from 2004-10. Before that he spent 10 years as chief operating officer of the BBC World Service. Andrew was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for commitment and service to the voluntary sector and was both the co-founder and Chair of the Charity Finance Directors’ Group. In September 2010 he was appointed as a non-executive Board member of the Information Commission. He was appointed a Companion of the Order of the Bath in the New Year Honours List 2011.
