Baroness Jill Pitkeathley
Chair
The Council is chaired by Baroness Jill Pitkeathley. Jill was Chief Executive of Carers UK. She was previously Chair of the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service, Chair of the Home Office Advisory Panel on Futurebuilders and Chair of the Advisory Body for the Office for Civil Society. She has been a peer on the Labour benches since 1997. Jill is also President, Vice President and Patron of several national and local charities.
